The BSIA (British Security Industry Association) organizes the industry’s finest, the British Security Awards commemoration 2022 today, beginning with the security personnel categories at the state level. The Security Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, on Wednesday the 29 of June.
The British Security Awards will commemorate the achievements of teams and security officers across the United Kingdom’s private security industry. It will also acknowledge the innovations in career contributions and business and technology done by long-time industry serving stalwarts. In the very first phase of the Security Awards, the national finalists and the regional winners of the five different security personnel categories will be identified. Five types include; Best Newcomer, Best Team, Service to the Customer, Outstanding Act and Security Manager of the Year.
At the beginning of April, regional winners will be announced, and they will automatically go forward to the national level on Wednesday, the 29 of June. At events across the country, these regional winners will also be conceded prior to the finals.
Overall the industry will be recognised in 18 categories in the current year 2022, which includes Contribution to the Industry and Bravery, National Partnership, Business of the Year, Environmental Project of the Year, Apprentice of the Year, Innovative Security Project. Two new categories have also been adjoined to distinctive roles, which are BSIA Special Recognition and Corporate Social Responsibility.
On the 11 of January 2022, entries for these national categories were opened. Chief Executive Mike Reddington, BSIA, stated that The British Security Awards is the finest national event of the professional security industry. It is continuously commemorating the industry’s most exemplary commitment and talent of the security departments. The achievement scale every year we witness in every security department is extraordinary. The awards we distribute make us capable of acknowledging the untold brave acts, successful projects’ delivered by progressive intellects, self-starters, and creativity in implementing new technologies working in the sector.
We are expecting more than ever to reward and acknowledge these teams and individuals for their dedication to their selected fields in the security department after inconceivable two demanding years for the security industry, as it’s never been so simple to secure the sites which are restricted. By June, the British Security Awards will hail stakeholders, colleagues, and members from around the industry to join at London Marriott to commemorate security excellence.
After two challenging years of COVID-19, the Association foresees that the security excellence celebrating the ceremony is holding the event in live glittering for the first time after 2019. The event will go in real-time. This year marks the best 25 years of The British Security Industry Association awards scheme and five years under its current likeness at Security Awards.
